Sally McNeil (born September 30, 1960) is a former professional bodybuilder and convicted murderer from the United States. She gained notoriety for the shooting death of her husband, Ray McNeil, on Valentine’s Day in 1995.
Prior to her infamy, Sally served in the United States Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton and achieved the rank of Sergeant. She also had a background in sports during high school and was studying to become a gym teacher at one point.
Her criminal history includes winning the U.S. Armed Services Physique Championship twice before being incarcerated at the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla.
In late 2022, a three-part docuseries titled Killer Sally was released, which delves into her case and its aftermath.
Sally was married to Ray McNeil at the time of his death.
