Melissa Benoist is an American TV actress born on October 4, 1988, in Littleton, Colorado. She rose to prominence with her role as Marley Rose on the popular television series Glee and was nominated for a Teen Choice Award in 2013. In 2015, she landed the lead role in the TV series Supergirl.
Prior to her breakout roles, Benoist had minor appearances on various television shows including Law & Order: Criminal Intent, The Good Wife, Blue Bloods and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Her film credits include playing Marcia in The Longest Ride released in 2015.
