Sada Jacobson is an American fencer who was born on February 14, 1983, in Minnesota. She gained prominence as a successful athlete in the sport of fencing.
Jacobson’s career reached new heights when she won a silver medal in the women’s individual sabre and a bronze medal in the women’s team sabre at the 2008 Olympics. Notably, she had also clinched bronze in the women’s individual sabre at the 2004 Olympics.
Prior to her Olympic achievements, Jacobson excelled as a two-time NCAA fencing champion during her time at Yale University.
The sport of fencing runs deep within Jacobson’s family roots; her father, David Jacobson, was part of the United States fencing team that competed in 1974.
