About Ruthie Bolton
Ruthie Bolton, born on May 25, 1967 in Mississippi, is a former basketball player known for her achievements as a guard representing Team USA at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics and the 1998 FIBA World Championships. She spent her entire WNBA career with the Sacramento Monarchs from 1997 to 2004.
Prior to her fame, Ruthie was born in Lucedale, Mississippi and attended Auburn University, where she played college basketball.
Notably, she has also served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserves as a transportation officer.
In terms of family life, Ruthie was married to Mark Holifield from 1991 to 2002 and notably played alongside her older sister Mae Ola Bolton while at Auburn.
