Ruth Clifford was an American actress born on February 17, 1900, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She gained prominence as a movie actress and starred in several silent films including The Savage (1917), The Invisible Ray (1920), and The Face on the Bar-Room Floor (1923).
Clifford grew up in Rhode Island and later moved to Los Angeles to live with her aunt after the death of her mother in 1911.
In addition to her acting career, she had roles where she voiced both Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse. Ruth was married to James Cornelius, a real-estate developer from 1924 until their divorce in 1938. They had one child together.
