Mayrin Villanueva (born October 8, 1970) is a Mexican soap opera actress best known for her starring roles in the telenovelas Mentir Para Vivir and Mi Corazon Es Tuyo. She has also appeared in Mujer de Madera, La Fea Mas Bella, and numerous other popular series.
Before gaining fame, Villanueva began her telenovela career in the late 1990s with appearances in Preciosa, La Mentira, and Alma Rebelde.
In 2003, she won a TVyNovelas Award for her role as Diana Soriano Rivera in the Televisa series Nina Amada Mia.
Villanueva was married to actor Jorge Poza from 1997 until 2008 and they had twins named Romina and Sebastian. Her second marriage is to actor Eduardo Santamarina which began in 2009 and produced a daughter named Julia.
