About Romi Dames
Romi Dames is a Japanese-American actress best known for her role as socialite Traci Van Horn on the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. She was born on November 5, 1979 in Japan and moved to Seattle, Washington at the age of thirteen. Dames attended the University of Washington before pursuing a career in acting.
In addition to her work on Hannah Montana, Dames has also lent her voice to characters on popular animated shows such as Phineas & Ferb, Winx Club, and DC Super Hero Girls.
Outside of acting, Dames has been involved with charitable work as a StarPower Ambassador for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, which supports seriously ill children.
Dames comes from a mixed cultural background – her father is American and her mother is Japanese.
