About Rochelle Pangilinan
Rochelle Pangilinan is a Filipino Instagram star born on May 23, 1982, in Malabon, Philippines. She first gained recognition as a founding member of the Filipino dance group, the SexBomb Girls.
Following her success with the dance group, she ventured into rap under the pseudonym RoC and later transitioned to starring in various television series. Notably, she gained prominence for her leading roles in Amaya and Darna.
Pangilinan’s passion for performing arts started at an early age when she actively participated in dance contests. Her breakthrough came at fourteen when she secured a spot on the variety show Eat Bulaga.
In 2007, Rochelle released her debut solo rap album titled Roc-A-Holic.
Born into a financially struggling family, Rochelle had to cope with her father’s alcoholism and abuse during her upbringing. Her parents eventually separated but reconciled before her father passed away from emphysema in 2007. Throughout these challenges, Rochelle found solace in pursuing music and performance alongside her younger brother Michael who is also a singer.
