About Roberta Rodrigues
Roberta Rodrigues, born on October 20, 1982 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is a Brazilian movie actress known for her work in several telenovelas on the Rede Globo Network. Her notable appearances include starring roles in Cabocla (2004) and Mulheres Apaixonadas (2003), as well as featuring in the Academy Award-nominated film City of God (2002).
Rodrigues began her acting career at the age of 16 with performances in her local theater group Nos do Morro. In 2002, she made her feature film debut with a role in City of God and followed this with television work including a recurring role in the series City of Men.
Besides acting, Rodrigues is also a singer and part of the group Melania Carioca alongside Micael Borges and Marcello Melo Jr.. She was born and raised in Vidigal, Rio de Janeiro.
