About Rika Zarai
Rika Zarai is an Israeli world music singer, born on February 19, 1938 in Jerusalem, Israel. She is best known for her renditions of classic Israeli songs such as “Hava Nagila” and “Yerushalayim Shel Zahav.” In addition to her music career, she has also published works including Ma medecine naturelle and Mes secrets naturels pour guerir et reussir.
Zarai began her career with a role in a 1956 musical about soldiers who fall in love with country girls. In the early 2000s, she suffered a stroke which left the left side of her body paralyzed.
She married Johann Zarai in 1959.
