About Rie Kitahara
Rie Kitahara is a Japanese pop singer and actress known for her performances with the Japanese Idol girl groups NGT48, SKE48, and AKB48 as well as their subgroup Not Yet. She was born on June 24, 1991, in Ichinomiya, Aichi, Japan.
Kitahara first gained attention by competing in the AKB48 election where she placed thirteenth overall. She furthered her career by debuting as a voice actress on the anime series Gakko no Kowai Uwasa: Shin Hanako-san ga Kita!! in August 2010.
In addition to her music career, Kitahara appeared as a contestant on the reality television series Terrace House: Boys x Girls Next Door.
