Richa Sharma (born August 29, 1980) is an Indian world music singer. She gained recognition for singing one of the longest Bollywood tracks ever recorded, the bidaai song, for the film Baabul in 2006.
Prior to her fame, Sharma began her career by performing cover songs around Mumbai in 1994 before making her debut in Bollywood with Salma Pe Dil Aa Gaya in 1996. Her talent was further acknowledged when she won a Bollywood Movie Award in 2003 for Best Female Singer.
Sharma grew up with her family in Faridabad, Haryana before relocating to Mumbai in pursuit of her music career.
