Ria Vandervis is a TV actress known for her role as Harper Whitley on the New Zealand TV2 soap opera Shortland Street. She began her tenure on the show in 2013 and has appeared in over 100 episodes. Vandervis attended Columbia College in Roslyn, New Zealand, and graduated with a degree in acting from the Auckland UNITEC School of Performing and Screen Arts. In addition to her work on Shortland Street, she portrayed Miratrix on the Power Rangers Operation Overdrive children’s show in 2007 and attended the inaugural Power Morphicon Power Rangers fan convention that same year.
Vandervis was born and raised in Dunedin, New Zealand.
