Rhian Teasdale, born on March 17, 1993 in England, is a British rock singer who gained prominence in 2021 as part of the band Wet Leg. The duo achieved widespread acclaim with their debut single “Chaise Longue”, accumulating millions of plays on Spotify. Subsequently, Wet Leg released their self-titled debut album in the following year, featuring Teasdale and her best friend as its principal songwriters.
Prior to her success with Wet Leg, Teasdale performed under the moniker Rhain and first crossed paths with her future bandmate Hester Chambers at Isle of Wight College. Notably, Wet Leg’s inaugural album secured top positions on charts in Australia and the United Kingdom while all its tracks surpassed over a million listens each within months of its release.
