About Reed Morano
Reed Morano, born on April 15, 1977 in Omaha, Nebraska, is a renowned cinematographer known for her work on the Sundance premiered films Kill Your Darlings, The Skeleton Twins, and Frozen River. She made her directorial debut with 2015’s Meadowland.
Prior to gaining fame in the film industry, Morano studied at Tisch School of the Arts and graduated from their film and television program in 2000. She later went on to teach cinematography at NYU.
Beyond her film projects, Morano has also worked on popular television series including Divorce, Vinyl, and The Handmaid’s Tale.
Morano is married to Matthew Walker and they have two sons. Her oldest son Casey appeared in Meadowland.
