About Rebecca Martin
Rebecca Martin (born April 24, 1969) is an American pop singer and producer hailing from Rumford, Maine. She has achieved recognition for her solo work as well as through compilation albums, with a notable win for Best Folk/Singer-Songwriter Album at the 2009 Independent Music Awards.
Prior to gaining fame in the music industry, Martin began her career after relocating to New York and forming the musical duo Once Blue with singer Jesse Harris. In addition to her own achievements, she had the honor of performing at New York’s Carnegie Hall in a tribute to Village Vanguard’s Lorraine Gordon in 2006.
On the personal front, Martin married Larry Grenadier in 1997. The couple welcomed their son Charlie into the world in 2005.
