Raya Encheva (born September 28, 1992) is a Bulgarian YouTube Star known for her travel and lifestyle videos on her channel RayaWasHere.
Encheva studied social and cultural studies at Goldsmiths, University of London before relocating to New York City. She chose not to pursue a traditional career path and instead focused on personal growth and finding ways to make a positive impact in the world
Born in Ruse, Bulgaria, Encheva moved frequently during her childhood and didn’t learn English until she was 10. Her family later relocated to the US in 2002.
In April 2022, she married Louis Cole, with whom she welcomed their first child named Neo Earth Cole on April 18, 2023.
