About Raquel Pomplun
Raquel Pomplun, born on October 24, 1987 in San Diego, California, is a model and actress. In 2013, she was named Playmate of the Year by Playboy. She has also appeared on Marvel’s Agents of Shield and starred in the 2014 film The Gambler.
Although born in San Diego, Pomplun spent her childhood in Tijuana before studying biochemistry at Southwestern College where she commenced her modeling career with Playboy.
Pomplun made history as the first Mexican-American to win the prestigious title of Playmate of the Year in 2013. She married her husband Alejandro at the age of 22 and comes from a family with two older brothers.
