About Rachel Burke
Rachel Burke (born September 27, 1988) is an Australian fashion designer and multi-disciplinary artist known for her vibrant and tactile-based designs. She is the creator of Apomogy and has garnered a following of over 200,000 on Instagram where she shares photos of her work.
Burke first gained attention in 2013 for experimenting with a unique tinsel look by attaching leftover Christmas tinsel to jackets. This approach quickly gained popularity on social media, leading to indie singer Patience Hodgson from The Grates wearing one of Burke’s full-length tinsel coats in 2015.
In addition to her design work, Burke wrote and published a fashion-based look book titled Be Dazzling. She was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia, and is married to Thomas Lynch with whom she shares two dachshunds named Daphne and Daisy.
