Rachaele Hambleton, born on May 18, 1982 in England, is a non-fiction author whose personal experiences with post-partum depression have shaped her career. Her journey led to the creation of her blog and subsequent book “Part-Time Working Mummy.” She has amassed a considerable online following with over 260,000 followers on Instagram and more than 500,000 followers on Facebook.
Before gaining fame as an author, at the age of 22 Hambleton experienced profound depression that even led her to contemplate harming her then-husband. Notably, in 2014 she performed a kind act by paying for groceries for a stranger when their debit card was declined; this woman later reached out via the Part-Time Working Mummy blog four years later to express gratitude after overcoming severe depression.
Hambleton is a mother of three children – Betsy, Tallulah-Belle and Edie – while also serving as stepmother to Seb and Isaac. She is married to police officer Josh Marshall.
