Rachael Price is a jazz singer born on August 30, 1985, in Perth, Australia. She is best known as the vocalist for the multigenre American band Lake Street Drive.
Price began her musical journey by performing with The Voices of Baha Choir at age 9 and later went on to study jazz at the New England Conservatory of Music.
In addition to her work with Lake Street Drive, she has also performed with groups like Boston Praise Collective, winning an Independent Music Award for Best Gospel Song with her recording of “My God, My Adored One.”
Price comes from a talented family; she is the granddaughter of actor John Shelton and daughter of composer Tom Price. She has two sisters and a brother.
