About Rachael Bland
Rachael Bland (January 21, 1978 – September 5, 2018) was a Welsh journalist and presenter known for her work with BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC North West Tonight. She is most notably recognized for her involvement in the creation of the BBC podcast “You, Me and the Big C.”
Bland began her career presenting news bulletins with BBC Local Radio before later moving on to more prominent roles as a TV show host.
Aside from her professional career, Bland also took part in athletic endeavors such as competing at the 2010 London Triathlon and the London Marathon.
In 2013, she married producer Steve Bland and together they had a son named Freddie.
