Pratima Singh, born on February 6, 1990 in Varanasi, India, is a professional basketball player known for her skill as a small forward and shooting guard. She has achieved significant success in the sport, including winning gold for India at the 3×3 FIBA Asia Championship. Additionally, she has earned accolades from her time playing with Jesus and Mary College as well as the University of Delhi.
Pratima’s passion for basketball began in 2003 while attending school in Udai Pratap. Her dedication to the sport led to numerous achievements throughout her career, culminating in receiving the Century Sports Award for Excellence in Sports in 2010.
Beyond her own accomplishments, Pratima comes from a family deeply involved in sports; she has five siblings, including esteemed basketball players Divya, Akanksha and Prashanti Singh. In 2016,she married cricketer Ishant Sharma.
