Pilar Pallete, born on September 3, 1936 in Paita, Peru, is a Peruvian actress known for her marriage to the renowned American actor John Wayne from 1954 until 1979.
Before her acting career took off, she married and divorced Richard Weldy in 1948. She then traveled to Los Angeles in 1953 to dub a film into English.
Pilar has been married four times and is the mother of three children. In addition to her acting career, she created an art piece titled Glamour Girls that showcases a collection of Belly Dancers.
