About Payton Hartsell
Payton Hartsell (born September 28, 1998) is a professional photographer from Houston, Texas. She is known for her work in individual and family portraits as well as wedding and engagement photography. Hartsell has collaborated with notable brands such as Birkenstock and Happy Socks.
Hartsell discovered her passion for photography at a young age when her father gifted her first camera at the age of 9. In 2012, she purchased her own Canon DSLR camera, marking the beginning of her professional journey.
During her time on the yearbook staff in school, Hartsell honed not only photographic skills but also gained knowledge in graphic design – an experience that further shaped her career.
As a Texan native, Hartsell often draws inspiration from the culture and landscapes around Houston. She has also applied her talents to capturing special moments within her own family, including photographing her brother Gage.
