Paula Pimenta is a Brazilian novelist born on June 2, 1975, in Belo Horizonte. She is best known as the author of the popular young adult novel series A Minha Vida e um Filme. This series has achieved significant success with over 800,000 copies sold to date.
Pimenta’s academic background includes studying advertising at Pontificia Universidade Catolica before relocating to London, England.
In addition to her literary accomplishments, Pimenta was recognized as one of the 100 most influential Brazilians by Epoca magazine in 2012.
Her parents are Itamar and Maria Eugenia Rondas Pimenta.
