Patti Murin is a TV actress widely known for her role as Dr. Nina Shore on the NBC TV drama Chicago Med. She was born on September 28, 1980, in Hopewell, New York.
Before gaining fame in television, she graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in musical theatre and went on to have a prolific career as a stage actress. She has appeared on Broadway in productions such as Xanadu (2007) and Lysistrata Jones (2011).
Murin also made guest appearances on the USA TV series Royal Pains and portrayed Anna in the 2012 TV movie Before We Made It.
In her personal life, she married her husband Colin Donnell in June 2015 after a six-month engagement. The couple welcomed their daughter Cecily into the world on July 14, 2020, followed by another daughter named Lorelai in April of 2023.
