Laura Vandervoort is a Canadian actress born on September 22, 1984, in Toronto. She is known for her roles in both film and television. In 2012, she appeared in movies such as Ted and This Means War, and later starred in the Netflix adaptation of V Wars based on Jonathan Maberry’s book series.
Prior to her acting career, Vandervoort was involved in various sports including football, karate, basketball, tennis, gymnastics and baseball. Her first major acting role came as a child performer on the television show Are You Afraid of the Dark?.
