About Nova Rockafeller
Nova Rockafeller, born on July 22, 1988 in Edmonton, Canada, is a pop singer and recording artist. She gained recognition for her self-produced album “Insufficient Funds” released in 2011 and also contributed to the soundtrack of the 2015 teen comedy film “The Duff.” In 2017, she formed a music duo called GFBF with Tom MacDonald. Growing up with a love for ’90s alternative rock and pop music, Rockafeller has integrated these influences into her own style which combines early ’90s sounds with underground hip hop.
Rockafeller signed a partnership with multi-platinum songwriter Evan “Kidd” Bogart’s Boardwalk Records and Island Records. She was raised in Jamaica and has been dating producer Tom MacDonald since 2017.
