Nicola Adams is a British boxer, born on October 26, 1982 in Leeds, England. She made history by becoming Britain’s most decorated female boxer and winning the first ever Olympic Women’s Boxing Gold Medal at the 2012 London Games.
Adams began her boxing career at the age of 13 and went on to become Britain’s amateur champion by 2003, holding onto the title in three championships. In addition to her boxing achievements, she gained popularity as a contestant on the popular series Strictly Come Dancing in 2020.
