About Nati Abascal
Nati Abascal, born on April 2, 1943, in Seville, Spain, is a former fashion model who rose to prominence as one of the most sought-after Italian models in the 1960s and 1970s. Her career saw her grace the covers of esteemed magazines such as Interview and Harper’s Bazaar.
Following her successful modeling tenure, Abascal transitioned into roles as a fashion advisor for Mango and a stylist for Hola! magazine. Her journey into modeling began at the International Exhibition in New York in 1964. In addition to her work in fashion, she also made an appearance as Yolanda in Woody Allen’s film Bananas (1971).
She was married to Rafael Medina y Fernandez de Cordoba, Duke of Feria and Marquis of Villalba from 1977 to 1988. Abascal has two sons: Rafael de Medina, who holds the title of 20th Duke of Feria; and Luis.
