About Naomi Wolf
Naomi Wolf is a feminist author and novelist known for her bestselling books, including 1990’s The Beauty Myth: How Images of Beauty Are Used Against Women and 2007’s The End of America: Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot.
Wolf was born on November 12, 1962, in California. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from Yale University in 1984 and later became a Rhodes Scholar at New College in Oxford.
In addition to her literary work, Wolf has stirred controversy with her 2012 book Vagina: A New Biography. Critics—both feminist and otherwise—have questioned the book’s intent.
Wolf has two children, Rosa and Joseph, with her ex-husband David Shipley.
