About Naja Rickette
Naja Rickette, born on June 3, 1979 in Trenton, New Jersey, is known as “The Queen of Nails” or “The Naja.” She gained fame as a couture nail artist and stylist who revolutionized the nail industry by pioneering Minx nails. In addition to her contributions to the beauty world, she established the Naja Nail Guru Nail Academy and rose to prominence as a television personality on the reality series L.A. Hair.
Prior to her success in the beauty industry, Rickette trained professionally as a chef before transitioning into becoming a nail artist in 2003. Her early experience in spa management began with working as a front desk coordinator at a luxury spa.
Adding to her versatile career, Rickette has engaged in various ventures throughout her professional journey – from being an owner of LA-based salon Nail Spa Extremedies Hand & Foot Spa visited by renowned figures such as Missy Elliott, Tamar Braxton and Lady Gaga; co-hosting Nail Talk Radio; hosting published works; and being featured in Beauty Cents and Sheen Magazine.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Rickette later made Los Angeles her home. Her influence extends beyond just fashion – it touches upon entrepreneurship within heartfelt community engagement among other aspects.
