Nacarid Escalona was born on March 10, 1965 in Caracas, Venezuela. She is a Venezuelan actress and model known for her work in print and commercial advertisements as well as films and television. One of her notable roles includes portraying Elvira Quintana in the 2005 series “Amor a Palos”.
Before gaining fame, Escalona trained at the Theja Theater School and began her acting career in 1996 with a role in the soap opera “La Ilaman Mariamor”. Her breakthrough came in 1997 when she played Alejandra De Hipolito in the telenovela “Llovizna”.
In addition to her successful acting career, Escalona has earned representation from the Tendencia acting agency. She is also recognized as the sister of Venezuelan writer Jose Simon Escalona, and she married actor Nacho Huett in 2010.
