About Moza bint Nasser
Moza bint Nasser, born on January 15, 1959 in Qatar, is best known as the second wife of Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, who was the former Emir of the State of Qatar.
Besides her role as a wife to a prominent figure, Moza bint Nasser is also recognized as an activist and has been actively involved in humanitarian work, serving as chairperson for various charitable foundations. She obtained a degree in sociology from Qatar University in 1986. Prior to this marriage, she had wed Sheikh Hamad in 1977.
In addition to her activism, Moza bint Nasser has held leadership positions such as chairing entities like the Arab Democracy Foundation and owning Le Tanneur, a leather-goods manufacturer. Hailing from an influential family herself—her father being opposition activist Nasser bin Abdullah Al-Misned—she shares seven children with Sheikh Hamad including Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani who currently serves as Emir of Qatar.
