Monika Sanchez is a Mexican soap opera actress known for her performances in Spanish-language telenovelas such as Salome, Apuesta por un amor, and Amores Verdaderos. She received a 2000 TVyNovelas Award for her antagonistic role in Laberintos de pasion.
Sanchez studied at Mexico’s Universidad Iberoamericana before beginning her career as an actress and model. Her first telenovela role was in Angeles sin paraiso in 1992. From 1998 to 1999, she played the principal antagonist Elena Ruiz in El diario de Daniela.
She is married to business executive Otto Seijas, with whom she has three children: Santiago (born 2009), Angela Fernanda (born 2011), and Monika Constanza (born 2013).
