About Moneoa Moshesh
Moneoa Moshesh, better known as Moneoa, is a South African soul singer and dancer. Born on November 6th, 1989, she released her debut album “Coming From Going To” in February 2014, earning nominations for Channel O Music Awards and Metro FM Music Awards. Her second album “Ndim Lo” also received two Metro FM Music Awards nominations.
Before gaining fame, Moneoa faced extreme poverty while being raised by her single mother. She worked tirelessly on her dancing skills to enter competitions and earn prize money, all while modeling outside of school to help support the family financially.
Notably, her aunt is the renowned South African actress Nthati Moshesh. Originally from Mthatha, she later relocated with her mother to Durban before settling in Johannesburg.
