About MIMI
MIMI, born on May 1, 1995 in Jeju, South Korea is a South Korean pop star best known for her work as a rapper in the popular girl group OH MY GIRL. She and the band rose to fame in 2015 with the release of their EPs Oh My Girl and Closer, both of which achieved top ten positions on the Korean album charts.
Before becoming a K-pop sensation, she grew up on the South Korean island of Jeju and completed WM Entertainment’s audition process in 2013. MIMI and her Oh My Girl bandmates were awarded the Best New Artist title at the 2015 SBS Power FM Cultwo Show Awards.
Her real name is Kim Mi Hyun.
