Mika Dela Cruz was born on December 9, 1998, in Tokyo, Japan. She is a TV actress known for her work in the Philippine youth sketch comedy series Goin Bulilit, as well as roles in Maalaala Mo Kaya and Mirabella. Additionally, she appeared in the Star Cinema film T2.
Before gaining fame, Dela Cruz entered the entertainment industry as a contestant on the 2006 season of Star Circle Summer Kid Quest. She received a PMPC Star Award for Best Child Film Actress in 2010.
Dela Cruz was born Mariko Nicolette Egger de la Cruz to Ernie de la Cruz and Angelika Egger, an Austrian mother. She has two brothers and one sister; tragically, her brother Edward died in a 2010 automobile accident.
