About Michele S Jones
Michele S Jones, born on November 24, 1962 in Maryland, is a war hero and the first female Command Sergeant Major in the United States Army Reserve.
Having started her military career in 1982, Jones has been involved in various domestic assignments related to Desert Shield, Desert Storm, the Kosovo War, and the War on Terrorism.
Prior to her military service, she graduated from Fayetteville State University with an honors degree in business administration and was also a cheerleader for the Baltimore Colts professional football team. After retiring from the military in 2007, she served as Special Assistant to U.S. Defense Secretary Bob Gates.
Born and raised in a suburb of Baltimore, Maryland, Jones was married for a time and raised two children.
