About Micayla Gatto
Micayla Gatto (born August 21, 1988) is a Canadian professional mountain biker and artist. She is known for creating art based on her experiences cycling and adventuring, and she is the founder of Split/Life Designs, a personal brand that represents her two passions.
Gatto graduated from the IDEA program at Capilano University in North Vancouver in 2010. In addition to her cycling career, she has partnered with Red Bull to create “Intersection: Micayla Gatto,” a mixed-media video showcasing her biking through a forest lined with special effects applied to make it look like she’s riding through a canvas.
She resides in Vancouver and continues to pursue her career as an athlete and artist.
