Mercedes Funes, born on March 12, 1979 in Rosario, Argentina, is an Argentine TV actress known for her versatile roles and often portraying antagonists. She gained recognition for her role as Luz Inchausti in Almost Angels and received a nomination for Best Actress at the Condor Silver Awards for her performance in Captive (2006).
At the age of 10, she attended her first television casting and later starred in the series Superclan (1990), followed by appearances in various other series before making her feature film debut in 1999.
