Melody Rae Kandil, born on October 20, 1988 in Cincinnati, Ohio, is a reality star known for her appearance on the E! television series Dash Dolls. In the show, she worked as a sales associate in one of the Dash boutiques. Prior to her reality TV career, Kandil was represented by Ford Models and has also participated in a photo shoot for Sports Illustrated.
Before gaining fame through her appearances on television, Kandil had been offered a basketball scholarship from the University of Tennessee-Martin but opted to leave school to pursue modeling and acting opportunities.
Additionally, she trademarked and launched Hoops2heels as both a brand and movement. The name “Hoops2heels” is associated with Kandil’s Instagram account which boasts over 160,000 followers.
