About Melody Lee Ishihara
Melody Lee Ishihara, born on February 24, 1982 in Honolulu, Hawaii, is a pop singer and former TV host. She made her debut with the song “Dreamin’ Away” in February 2003 and gained recognition when her single “Realize” was chosen as the theme song for the TV drama series Dragon Zakura.
Prior to her music career, Ishihara began as a model for Japanese commercials at the age of 16. In 2007, she started hosting NHK World TV’s music show J-Melo.
In 2009, Ishihara married singer Miyavi and together they have two daughters: Lovelie Miyavi and Jewelie Aoi.
