Mel Buttle is an Australian comedian and TV show host, known for her role as primary host of The Great Australian Bake Off. Born on January 25, 1982 in Brisbane, Australia, she began hosting the show during its second season and became a regular host thereafter.
Buttle holds a bachelor’s degree from Griffith University (2003) and a post-graduate degree in marketing from Curtin University. She gained recognition by winning the Directors Choice Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for her solo show “How Embarassment” in 2013.
