About Megan Bomgaars
Megan Bomgaars (born November 25, 1992) is a reality star known for her role in the A&E docu-reality series Born This Way. She was born in Denver, Colorado and gained attention after becoming the first cheerleader with Down syndrome in the state of Colorado during high school.
After making a viral speech titled “Don’t Limit Me” aimed at Douglas County School District teachers, she went on to co-found and co-own the tie-dyed clothing line Megology with her mother. Megan attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs to pursue a degree in film studies.
Born This Way details the lives of young adults born with Down syndrome and has won numerous Emmys. Megan’s previous relationship was with Brendan, and her mother’s name is Kris Bomgaars.
