About Martina Guiggi
Martina Guiggi is a professional volleyball player from Italy, born on May 1, 1984 in Pisa. She is an international middle blocker who achieved significant success by winning the Women’s European Volleyball Championship and Women’s World Cup in 2007. Additionally, she has earned silver and bronze medals at the World Grand Prix.
Guiggi began her career playing for Pecciolese in 1998 before turning professional when she joined AGIL Novara in 2001. Throughout her career, she has primarily played for Italian clubs but had a stint in China from 2013 to 2014 with Guangdong Evergrande.
She spent her formative years growing up in Pisa, Italy.
