About Marthe De Pillecyn
Marthe De Pillecyn (born July 16, 1996) is a Belgian World Music Singer best known as one third of the girl band K3. She was born in Duffel, Belgium and rose to fame after joining the group in 2015.
K3 has had a rotating roster of singers since its inception and has released over 20 albums throughout their prolific career. Marthe became part of the new squad in 2015 when K3 released the album “10.000 Luchtballonnen”.
Prior to her time with K3, Marthe first gained attention by competing on Belgium’s Got Talent as a member of the Young Artist Academy in 2013. She then went on to participate in the series “K3 zoekt K3” to earn her spot in the group.
Interestingly, although K3 was originally formed in 1998 by Niels William, Marthe didn’t join until 2015. Following this change, former member Kristel Verbeke took on the role of manager for the group.
Marthe De Pillecyn comes from a family that includes one brother named Mattice.
