About Martha Josey
Martha Josey is a renowned rodeo rider, best known for her expertise in barrel racing. Born on March 11, 1938, in Texas, she started riding as a teenager after attending a rodeo event.
In 1985, Martha was honored with induction into the Cowgirl Hall of Fame due to her significant contributions to the sport. Notably, she participated in the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary as part of a barrel racing exhibition.
In addition to her successful career, Martha married fellow rodeo rider R.E. Josey in 1967.
