About Marivi Bilbao
Marivi Bilbao (born January 22, 1930) is a Spanish actress known for her recurring television and soap opera appearances. She gained recognition for her roles as Marisa Benito on the series Aquí no hay quien viva and Izaskun Sagastume on La que se avecina.
Prior to her television work, Bilbao began her career as a theatrical actress with the Cultura Hispanica de Bilbao theater group. She then appeared in short films such as La interrogación de F. Bardaji, before making her feature film debut in 1962’s Playa insolita. In 2007, she received the Best Actress award at the ATV Awards in Spain for her role in Aquí no hay quien viva.
Bilbao was born and raised in Biscay, Spain. She was married to Javier Urquijo from 1939 until his passing in 2003.
